The latest US misunderstanding of how the People’s Republic of China works is reported in this latest story by eWeek…oh the hilarity and irony…

The sage China hands advising President Obama are advocating levying trade sanctions on Chinese manufactured goods – and then out of the other policy spigot comes a renewed desire to chat with the Chinese about cyber espionage…really? WTF????!!!!

Think about this for a second "China Gurus",  it makes no cultural, economic, military or political sense to tell the Communist Party of China you don’t trust them so the US will ban your manufactured goods and then acquiesce and ask for forgiveness by wanting to chat about alleged Chinese Cyber Espionage… oh and by the by, there’s that OSD Report on the People’s Republic of China’s military and security developments stating that from a US military strategy perspective the Middle Kingdom cannot be trusted as it carries out cyber espionage…most curious…really folks…who is in charge in Washington regarding dealing with the People’s Republic of China and cyber policy?

International governments including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China (中華人民共和國) all have very well developed cyber capabilities both offensively and defensively; this is the Western world view. During this presentation a foreigner’s international experience reviewing, studying and researching these three nation states will be presented. Included in this 360 degree review will be both the Western/foreigner’s perspective and the distinct motivations by each country to feel compelled to develop such technologically advanced national security weapons in the information realm.

No wonder the USN CNO says there are no issues with China’s Military while US OSD issues reports touting Washington is burning under the threat of Chinese cyber war preparations…is anyone paying attention to what is happening? Yes Helvey is a China Military "GURU" alright – perhaps self-appointed…

This report by Foreign Policy Magazine is excellent – albeit a little late…if the correspondents from FP had attended the Zhuhai Airshow last October (2012) in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China (中華人民共和國) they would know that the US military intellectual property horse has left the barn…already…the People’s Republic of China State Owned Enterprises (SOE)  military aircraft manufacturers were showcasing attack helicopters which looked very much like the Apache attack helo made by Boeing; or the various and sundry drones with Chinese PLA (中國人民解放軍)

markings on them…if you want more details about the extent of the Chinese military intellectual property theft that has already taken place contact me here @ State of Security…

PS – US Defense contractors who have already lost intellectual property to Chinese SOEs will soon learn that the Chinese military (中國人民解放軍) is selling advanced US military technology to countries and miscreant nation states that cannot be accessed by US defense contractors due to sensitive military export restrictions…

The People’s Republic of China’s military, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA ~ 中國人民解放軍) announced in April of this year (2013) that indeed has given its military intent to ensure that the informization of all Chinese military forces is a necessary condition for protecting its international sovereignty…

"Aiming to win local wars under the conditions of informationization and expanding and intensifying military preparedness. China’s armed forces firmly base their military preparedness on winning local wars under the conditions of informationization, make overall and coordinated plans to promote military preparedness in all strategic directions, intensify the joint employment of different services and arms, and enhance warfighting capabilities based on information systems."…

Pierluigi Paganini has written an excellent post on the latest US Military report regarding the cyber dilemma between the United States and the People’s Republic of China…the curiously wonderful noteworthy aspect of his post…he’s an information security expert…from Italy.

I always admire Pierluigi’s posts and this latest one regarding China and the United States is simply outstanding.

He has equated the cyber hyperbole between the Middle Kingdom and the United States of America to the newest version of a ‘cold war’…
